Built With Purpose: Supporting a Veteran’s Dream Truck with Air Lift
2/13/2026
When it comes to building vehicles, the most meaningful projects aren’t about horsepower numbers or show-stopping paint, they’re about people.
That’s why Air Lift was proud to partner with Turn5 on their Veteran Dream Build series, a project dedicated to honoring U.S. military veterans by transforming their trucks into vehicles that better support their everyday lives and adventures.
For this build, Turn5 selected Josh M. of New York, an Army Infantry Officer and avid outdoorsman who regularly tows his family’s camper with his 2019 Ram Classic Warlock. The goal was simple: build a truck that delivers greater stability, confidence, and comfort while towing so Josh can spend more quality time on the road and at the campsite with his family.
A Truck Built for Real-World Use
Josh’s Ram Warlock is more than a daily driver. With a 25+ foot camper in tow on weekends, load management and ride stability are critical for both comfort and safety.
Like many trucks, the Ram Warlock did not come equipped with factory air suspension. Under heavy tongue weight, rear-end squat, reduced steering response, and inconsistent handling can quickly take the enjoyment out of towing.
That’s where Air Lift’s load support and air management solutions come in.
Load-Leveling Confidence with LoadLifter 5000
To help the Ram handle towing duties with confidence, the build team installed an Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air spring kit (PN: 57365).
Designed to work alongside the factory suspension, the LoadLifter 5000 helps:

- Reduce rear-end squat when towing or hauling
- Restore proper ride height under load
- Improve handling, braking, and overall stability
- Maintain ride quality when the truck is unloaded
With up to 5,000 lbs. of load-leveling support, the system allows Josh to fine-tune his suspension based on trailer weight and road conditions, helping make long towing trips safer and more enjoyable for his entire family.
Simple, In-Cab Control with WirelessOne
To make adjustments quick and convenient, the build also features the Air Lift WirelessOne Tank Plus EZ Mount system (PN: 25981EZ).
WirelessOne allows Josh to adjust air pressure from inside the cab using a handheld controller: no crawling under the truck, no manual adjustments. The integrated tank and EZ Mount design also keep the install clean and efficient, making it a great solution for real-world towing setups.
Together, LoadLifter 5000 and WirelessOne give Josh the flexibility to adapt his truck to changing loads, terrain, and travel plans with confidence.
More Than a Build
Projects like the Veteran Dream Build series are a reminder that vehicles are tools that help people live fuller lives, spend more time with family, and pursue the activities they love.
Air Lift is proud to support initiatives that give back to those who have served, and grateful to work alongside partners like Turn5, American Trucks, and American Muscle who are committed to making a real impact through their platforms.
We’re honored to play a small role in helping Josh’s dream build come together, and we thank him for his service.
