Air Lift Launches Six New LoadLifter 5000™ Kits For Ford Trucks

Lansing, MI – December 14, 2011 –Air Lift Company announced the release of six redesigned, improved, and easier to install LoadLifter 5000™ air spring kits for the 1999 – 2012 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 pickups, single and dual rear wheel, with 2 or 4 wheel drive. These underframe kits are specifically designed for trucks with in-bed hitches.  As a dedicated suspension specialist since 1949, Air Lift Company strives to engineer and manufacture the highest quality and most innovative products.   These six redesigned kits are a result of this commitment, featuring new brackets which reduce the installation time by as much as 50%  for each kit.

Each kit has been simplified with a two piece upper bracket design which allows the customer to install the air spring as an all-in-one assembly. As a result, installation time has been reduced by as much as 50%. The lower bracket design of each kit has also been improved.  These new kits fit both gas and diesel models.

The following redesigned kits are available to ship immediately.

  • Part No. 57393: 1999-2004 Ford F-250/F-350, S&DRW, 2WD
  • Part No. 57390: 1999-2004 Ford F-250/F-350, S&DRW, 4WD
  • Part No. 57397: 2005-2010 Ford F-250/F-350, S&DRW, 2WD (New kit, replaces existing kit No. 57394)
  • Part No. 57398: 2005-2010 Ford F-250/F-350, S&DRW, 4WD (New kit, replaces existing kit No. 57394)
  • Part No. 57395: 2011-2012 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450, S&DRW, 2WD
  • Part No. 57396: 2011-2012 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450, S&DRW, 4WD
  • Part No. 57394 (no longer available after 3/1/2012)

The current kit, 57394, is a popular SKU, but requires up to an additional two hours of installation time.  This kit (57394) will remain an active SKU until February 28, 2012 to help with this conversion to the new part numbers listed above.  As the 57394 fit both 4-wheel and 2-wheel drive vehicles, it will now be necessary to know if the customer has a 4-wheel or a 2-wheel drive truck to order the proper part number.  These new kits are more universal and will work with all Ford F250/350 trucks from 2005-2010.  For these reasons, it is recommended that customers maintain inventory of the 57394 kits to fill the existing short term demand.

LoadLifter 5000 kits are Air Lift’s heaviest-rated kits, specifically engineered for hauling or towing heavy loads. LoadLifter 5000 kits work with the vehicle’s existing suspension to give up to 5,000 pounds of extra leveling capacity when needed, right up to the manufacturer’s recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Rugged and durable, LoadLifter 5000 air springs are built like a tire and reinforced by 2-ply fabric. The end caps are constructed from ultra high-strength composite Nylon and are strong as steel but are lighter and corrosion proof.

Air adjustable from 5 to 100 PSI, Air Lift air spring kits increase safety and comfort by helping to level and stabilize vehicles when towing or hauling heavy loads.  A level, stable vehicle results in better braking, steering, headlight aim and also reduces sway, “porpoising”, and bottoming out.  Just add air when loaded and reduce air pressure when riding unloaded.

Air Lift air springs are available for more than 540 makes and models of vehicles including pickup trucks, RVs, SUVs, CUVs and vans.  For those with basic tools and mechanical know-how, Air Lift kits are easily installed within 2 hours or they can be installed at one of many Air Lift installer partners across the country.

All Air Lift air springs include a lifetime warranty on the entire contents of the kit as well as an industry-exclusive 60 day no questions asked money back guarantee.
